Wonderful Japanese antique doll represents young Maiko or apprentice Geisha with magnificent kinsha silk purple furisode and silk red kimono with hand-embroidering Fuji flowers (Wisteria) motif.

Her under-kimono also has been hand-embroidered with cherry and plun flowers. Silk brocade obi tied in Maiko's way. She dances with Fuji branch in her hands.

Her hair embellished with Fuji flower as well as red ribbon.

This magnificent doll crafted about 30's, in Kyoto, ensuring the finest quality and craftsmanship. Tender, expressive face, exquisite kimono make this doll a highly collectible item

The doll  is in excellent condition without any damage but with little dulling in one her glass eye.
